South Australian electronic solutions provider, REDARC Defence Systems have unveiled their new brand identity – REDARC Defence & Space – warranted by the company’s growth in Defence, adding new capabilities and service offerings in the rapidly evolving Space sector.
Established in 1979, REDARC Electronics is an Australian, privately-owned, advanced electronics manufacturer successfully supplying patented solutions to the Australian and international heavy commercial and defence vehicle sectors. As a design-to manufacture business, REDARC is uniquely positioned to support defence requirements, both now and in the future.
In 2019, the company launched REDARC Defence Systems Pty Ltd (now REDARC Defence & Space), a dedicated business to meet the growing needs of the Australian Defence market for wholly Australian Owned Defence medium sized enterprises that can foster the development of intellectual property in Australia.
REDARC Defence & Space has seen year-on-year growth in the three years from its establishment. It is a credit to the reputation of REDARC Group, that REDARC’s Defence sector saw such exponential growth, in an industry where winning work can take years of bidding and meticulous preparation. REDARC Defence & Space now employ over 18 staff, to support global investment priorities shifting to a focus on national security and defence.
REDARC Defence & Space will continue to offer the blend of commercial off the-shelf, modified off-the-shelf and customised and design-to-print electronic solutions to improve the capability, safety and flexibility of a variety of defence applications.

REDARC Defence & Space have seen success in a variety of projects since launching in 2019 including LAND 116, LAND 121, Land 19 Ph7B, and Thermal Signature Enhancement Kits (RTSEK) as part of Multi Aspect Threat Emulation Systems (MATES), whilst servicing the global defence market through export sales.

In addition to these achievements, REDARC Defence & Space won both the Teaming, and Resilient and Adaptive awards with the Defence Teaming Centre on the back of a successful launch year in 2019.
