Redarc Defence & Space had the privilege of attending the 2024 Defence Teaming Centre Annual Defence Industry Dinner & Awards Ceremony. The event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the achievements of the Australian defence industry.
A Night of Recognition
While our team’s project with Neumann Space and Centre National d’Études Spatiales, focused on advancing an electromagnetic interference (EMI) test method for propulsion systems, didn’t clinch the top prize, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication put into the project.
REDARC’s state-of-the-art testing equipment, including our Anechoic chamber, played a crucial role in conducting precise EMI measurements and ensuring the products met the highest standards of electromagnetic compatibility. Our team of experts, with their extensive knowledge and experience in EMI measurement, ensured that the products were reliable and performed optimally in complex environments.
This collaboration has opened up new opportunities for testing propulsion systems for Defence, as well as other satellite subsystems, payloads, and non-space related Defence electronics hardware.
A Well-Deserved Honor
A particular highlight of the evening was the recognition of Kim Scott, a valued member of the Redarc Defence & Space team. Kim was awarded the prestigious Tony Martin Industry Achievement Award, a testament to his significant contributions to the Australian defence industry. His leadership, expertise, and strategic guidance have been instrumental in driving innovation and shaping the future of defence technology.
Redarc Defence & Space is honoured to be part of such a talented and dedicated team. We look forward to continuing our work in advancing Australian defence capabilities and contributing to the global space industry.
