LONSDALE, SA – June 24, 2025 – REDARC Defence & Space, a leading Australian-owned and operated advanced manufacturer of defence power solutions, is pleased to announce the successful handover of the groundbreaking Electronic Warfare Tactical Engagement Vehicle (EWTE). Developed in close partnership with Raytheon Australia, who are now responsible for installing the Electronic Warfare components of the capability this nation-first mobile capability was officially delivered at the client’s facility in Mawson Lakes, marking a significant milestone in Australian defence innovation and collaboration.
The EWTE, initially unveiled earlier this year by Raytheon Australia, is designed to test and refine cutting-edge electronic warfare technologies on the go, providing a crucial asset for Australia’s sovereign EW capabilities. This complex project saw REDARC Defence & Space apply its comprehensive end-to-end capability to create and install the critical vehicle power solution, demonstrating its full lifecycle expertise from concept to deployment and training.

This collaborative effort highlights the strategic importance of Australian companies working together to enhance the nation’s defence readiness. The EWTE is a prime example of local innovation driving national defence outcomes, particularly in critical areas like electronic warfare, as emphasised under AUKUS Pillar II.
The handover event, led by Cameron Bleakley, Integrated Solutions Technician, REDARC Defence & Space included live demonstrations that highlighted the advanced capabilities and seamless integration of all onboard systems. This successful delivery reinforces REDARC Defence & Space’s commitment to providing robust, reliable, and integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Australian Defence Force and its allies.
